ROLE SUMMARY
Climate Impact Partners, a leading provider of high quality carbon credit programmes, is looking for a Management Accountant to join our busy and transforming Finance team. This role will cover a variety of responsibilities within the Finance function of Climate Impact Partners. The core purpose of the role is to assist the transactional team and the management accounting team in order to meet their core objectives.
RESPONSBILITIES
Month end reporting:
- SF/IAS/BC reconciliations (including meetings to investigate issues)
- Deferred Revenue unwind report (investigate old balances)
- Review and prepare accruals schedule journal for the month
- Review and prepare prepayments schedule journal for the month
- Review and prepare the assessments schedule for the month
- Prepare information for LLC & Europe inventory transfer invoices
- Prepare Inventory transfer journal based on the above reports
- Identifying and resolving discrepancy on Inventory Tracker report
- Checking, finalising and sharing with FP&A and Fulfilment Inventory Rec
- Opex expenditure review for all entities
- Review the Fixed Asset postings for the Group
- Produce accurate Balance Sheet reconciliations for review by the Finance Manager
- Complete, run and share each company’s trial balances for the group
Transactional:
- Review GBP payment runs
- Review foreign currency payment runs
- Support AP processing when required
- Providing support with AP/AR claims and queries
- Assist colleagues with posting/VAT/Nominal Ledger issues and queries
Supporting the business:
- Dealing with or assisting the assistant management accountant with various Kenya queries
- Accrued sales commission calculation and posting for the month
- KYCs, suppliers/customers financial review
Reporting and audit:
- Generating and providing reports from Business Central as required
- Collect information for sample testing as part of the audit
- Year-end reports and reconciliation as requested
Ad hoc tasks:
- Covering various tasks during team members holidays
- Ad hoc that the business requires
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential Qualifications
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA newly qualified and final stage examination candidates also considered
- Advanced Excel skills (V-look-ups, Pivot tables, Index-Match)
- Microsoft Office
