12/06 Our Public Sector Partnerships team are looking for someone who’s an influential networker and enthusiastic to become a Public Sector Partnerships Manager on a maternity cover basis for Wales! This role is perfect for you if you are an experienced individual with an understanding of what influences funding agendas in the public sector. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to relate with personal credibility with senior personnel in the public, private and voluntary sectors. You will have excellent written communication skills, with the ability to develop detailed proposals, presentations, and budgets. You should also be able to demonstrate that you understand the challenges that face disadvantaged young people in Wales and have good networks with key political and commercial players therein. You will also have an enthusiasm and passion for the work of The Prince’s Trust and a conviction to deliver highly positive outcomes for the young people The Trust supports.

_As Our Public Sector Partnerships Manager, You Will _

Proactively cultivate and manage a programme of regular liaison with local and regional public sector funders and partners through meetings and briefings in order to provide The Trust with intelligence leading to new income and partnership opportunities. Prepare, develop, and coordinate applications for grants and other public sector funding opportunities in line with agreed financial targets for the region. Identify new and existing national, regional, and local funding sources of public sector income for The Prince’s Trust activities and target groups. Build active partnerships with key public and voluntary sector agencies to increase the local presence and visibility of The Prince’s Trust.
