A key member of the Rapha Finance team, this role will report into our Transaction Services Manager. The Accounts Payable Assistant's role will include administrative duties but will also involve liaising with other teams in the business and working with the wider Finance team to support month end.
The role will be part time and any reasonable flexible pattern can be considered (whether 3 full days, 5 short). The role will be hybrid but with a requirement to travel to our London office on a weekly basis. The rate of pay will be at £15/hour as an equivalent salary plus full benefits as listed below.
THE ROLE
● Monitoring of key AP inboxes
● Processing purchase invoices and credit notes into the ERP system (Microsoft Navision),
including stock and freight
● Ensure invoices are correctly authorised at the relevant level
● Reconcile supplier statements at month end and resolve any discrepancies
● Managing supplier accounts, ensuring timely payment of creditors
● Preparation of payment runs
● Liaising with Logistics and Shipping teams to resolve queries
● Assist the wider finance team at month ends with entity reporting and stock reconciliations
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualities:
● At least 1-2 years experience within Accounts Payable or similar role
● Experience using accounting software/ ERP systems
● Experience within retail/eCommerce and/or processing international logistics invoices desirable
● Organised with good time management
● Strong attention to detail
● Initiative and can-do attitude
● Adaptable and flexible
● Team player
● An interest in cycling and the business culture is an advantage
