The England Delivery Partnerships and Volunteering Team supported over 14,000 young people between April 2022 and March 2023, at the same time strengthening relationships with our Delivery Partners and Volunteers. Due to an internal review on volunteering, we had previously paused recruitment, however, we are now in a position to recruit for these roles.
At this time, our key priorities across England are to extend and grow our partnership delivery focusing on continuous improvement and quality; increase our number and diversity of delivery partners in areas of high need, and continue to strengthen and develop our work with volunteers. As we move into this new phase, we are looking for 3 Heads of Delivery Partnerships and Volunteering across England – the South, based in London or Bristol, Central, based in Birmingham or Nottingham and the North, based in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, or Newcastle.
You will need excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills as well as an innovative approach to developing, sustaining and growing successful partnerships and supporting our extensive network of volunteers in these areas. You will be integral to the England leadership team and have responsibility for a team of managers and youth development leads across each of the 3 areas of England supporting young people through our work with schools, colleges, and other delivery partners. Your work will ensure our volunteers mirror the communities in which we work and the young people we support.
This role is perfect for you if you have a strong track record in management (ideally 5 years plus) together with the experience of supporting volunteers, knowledge of formal/informal education settings and if you are seeking a role where you can shape, influence, and implement, ensuring excellent standards of delivery. Travel will be required to support our delivery teams across a wide dispersed geography, and regular attendance at one of our Prince’s Trust centres.
The Prince’s Trust is committed to building a workforce that is as diverse as the young people that represent modern-day Britain, and we are ultimately here to serve. As part of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy we are wanting to build a management and leadership team that has greater representation of the diverse communities across England and particularly welcome candidates with lived experiences from Black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds.
Interviews for all roles will take place week on July 3rd (Birmingham) and July 4th (Leeds)
