Houst, an exciting London-based start-up, is set to transform the way we engage with the world. We are seeking a dynamic Head of Product, a true artisan, eager not only to strategise and perfect our product, but to get stuck in and build it. Our ideal candidate is a craftsperson at heart, preferring to chart new territory and pioneer fresh solutions rather than stick to well-trodden paths. - Devise and deliver the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Houst’s strategic priorities and goals.
- Lead, inspire and develop a talented product team, fostering an environment where they can excel.
- Conduct market and user research to uncover new opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Engineering, Design, Marketing and Sales teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
- Define and monitor key product metrics to understand performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure timely delivery.
- Champion our customers, deeply understanding their needs and frustrations to drive product improvement.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, encouraging the team to test, learn, iterate, and innovate.
- Demonstrable experience in a product leadership role, preferably within a start-up environment.
- Proven track record of crafting and launching successful products.
- Hands-on, "do-er" mentality, with the ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with meticulous execution.
- Superb leadership and team management skills, with experience in nurturing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong customer focus, with a passion for understanding user needs and translating them into product features.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a knack for thinking outside the box and finding creative solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from team members to board executives.
