Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (09:00-17:00)
Salary: dependent on experience + up to 20% bonus + benefits
Location: Flexible, we could support fully remote or hybrid working from any of our UK offices in London, Cardiff, Durham, Manchester, or Blackpool

We’re building an amazing team and we’re looking for a hard-working and driven full stack developer to support us on our journey. The main purpose of the role is to work within a development team to assist in the design, development and maintenance of event-driven micro-services and fintech products.

What you will be working on:

  • Write clean, high quality, testable, secure, maintainable and extendable code
  • Implement, test and launch new features on our fintech platform
  • Collaborate to produce designs and documentation for planned features
  • Maintain existing services and codebases

What we're looking for:

Essential:

  • Solid experience with Typescript / NodeJS
  • Solid experience with C# / ASP.Net Core or Java and a willingness to work with either
  • Knowledge of Databases and Data Modelling
  • Knowledge of core front-end principles and technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others in multi-functional teams
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Desirable:

  • Experience with Java development
  • Experience with CI/CD environments
  • Experience with Agile project delivery and iterative software development.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based / containerized services
  • Knowledge of Kafka or similar event streaming system
  • Experience with building and deploying event-driven micro-services
