Finance Manager (Interim - Maternity Cover)

You will be working on all things financial at Founders Factory. This will be a varied role with plenty of opportunity to contribute across different areas, including but not limited to:

Working directly with our outsourced finance function (BDO) to assist with finance operations across the organisation. Working directly with interim-CFO to maintain a robust control environment and driving lean and effective transactional processes Supporting our annual audit process across multiple entities Providing timely, accurate and insightful financial and management reporting to help drive effective and informed decision making Business partnering with key stakeholders across the business across financial operations, budget reporting and cost analysis Analysis and reporting of information for our 200+ portfolio companies Ad-hoc support and engagement to the founders of our portfolio start-ups, to support their business’ financial wellbeing

Candidate profile:

Be a recently qualified accountant - c. 2 years PQE (ACA/CIMA/ICAS/ACCA) Have 1-2 years of industry experience in a fast-growth start-up or SME environment Demonstrated experience of the nuts-and-bolts of financial management: transactional processing, accounting, taxation, reporting, planning and analysis. International experience across these areas is a plus. Comfortable embracing a rapidly changing environment. We need someone who is able to work accurately, efficiently and effectively under pressure, and manage multiple demands from different stakeholders Have a hands-on and proactive approach. Be both a curious and creative thinker, and also a results-oriented executor Team-orientated with excellent communication and relationship building skills to effectively work with with our operations team, founders and investors Must embody our Founders Factory values
