The Development Director plays a key role in the business. This person will lead all business development initiatives in his/her relevant market(s).
The employee in this position is responsible for:
• Generating new opportunities and supporting prospective and existing clients throughout their journey with Leesman
• Helping clients and prospective clients understand the Leesman tools and if/how we can help solve the client’s challenges
• Attending and presenting our research at our events and other conferences/client events
• Presenting data back to clients, connecting the findings to our research and the client’s strategies
• Supporting with client initiatives outside of his/her main market as part of a global client strategy team
• Working closely with the London HQ and others in market to ensure we exceed client expectations
• Mentoring junior colleagues in order to develop an outstanding client experience across the business
Requirements for success:
• Honed active listening skills and an unwavering curiosity to understand clients’ problems
• A self-starter who is keen to take initiative and ownership of growing his/her market
• A natural networker with an innate ability to connect with others virtually, in person, or on stage
• A growth mindset with the desire to continuously learn and improve while supporting team members to do the same
• Prior experience working within FM / Workplace / Commercial Real Estate / Architectural sectors an advantage, or a quick learner who can pick up the main facets of the workplace industry
• An understanding and interest in data and analytics
This role reports to the Client Development lead. This is a full-time, permanent position with the potential for both regional and overseas travel.
