Senior Digital Marketing Planner
Responsible to: Head of School Support
Team: School Support
Term: Permanent
Salary: £52,855
Hours: 36 hours per week (if full-time – flexible arrangements will be considered. Our core working days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, to allow effective collaboration time with colleagues).
Line management responsibility: School Support Officer (Acquisition) and User Support Officer
Budget responsibility: Manage a school support budget
Key external relationships: Teachers, schools
DBS: An enhanced DBS is required for this role.
Responsibilities
Lead the continuous improvement of user acquisition and growth through the delivery of a digital marketing plan, digital marketing reporting, and operation of organisation-wide customer-relationship management (CRM) systems.
Maintain specialist expertise in the applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in marketing and be an authority across Oak, sharing best practice and mentoring colleagues.
Develop and manage a high performing team, including overseeing our user support function, and managing the triage and response to queries.
As a member of the Oak team, contribute to our strategy and planning, and model and promote our culture of freedom, responsibility and continuous improvement.
Deputise for the Head of School Support and take on other general responsibilities as required
Manage a School Support acquisition and awareness budget (minimum of 5-figures).
Knowledge, skills and experience
Extensive knowledge of a range of digital marketing channels, including SEO, email, social and paid campaigns (PPC), display advertising, content marketing and marketing automation, as well as emerging market technology and data management/protection.
Extensive knowledge of marketing evaluation and campaign analysis, with a desirable understanding of AI and its role in marketing.
5+ years experience leading the continuous improvement of organisation-wide Customer Relationship Marketing systems.
Experience of recruiting, developing and managing a high performing team.
Experience of managing a 5-figure budget.
The successful candidate will have a desire to contribute in all areas to ensure Oak is successful. You will be comfortable working at pace, with a range of digital systems (including proprietary ones as required) and you will continuously look at ways that the team can keep getting better. You will be excellent at working as part of a remote team, building relationships and managing your time effectively.
