The Job

You will report to the Commercial Finance Director and you will be responsible for all end to end Financial Planning & Analysis requirements, to support our continued growth. You will help develop the system and processes required to produce accurate and relevant management information to enable the business to make commercial decisions.

What you'll be doing

• Revenue & Profit Margin – Provide analysis and reporting to executive leadership of expected revenue, cost and profit landing position throughout the quarter, through thorough understanding of revenue and cost drivers.

• Budgeting & Forecasting – Support the consolidation of Financial and Non-Financial data behind Business Planning, Forecasting and Budgets for the group, ensuring key assumptions, dependencies, risks and opportunities are understood and articulated. Producing insightful variance analysis and bridges. Assist in the consolidation and finalisation of monthly rolling forecasts through the use of the FP&A system, Anaplan.

• Month end reporting – Support the consolidation of regional reporting to produce the Group reporting pack which will provide key insights across the business to management teams. Provide proactive challenge to the business on financial performance to drive improvements.

• Interim/Year end reporting: Assist in the preparation of revenue metrics analysis based on MindGym’s product hierarchy for the use of external reporting. Assist in the preparation of investor presentations by taking a proactive approach with the Commercial Finance Director to help co-ordinate all activity across the business in producing relevant information.

• Gender pay gap reporting: Working with HR to extract relevant data and assist in the calculation of MindGym’s Gender Pay gap during April 2024.

• Systems & Processes- Supporting improvements in the financial systems / tools utilised by the business, including the review of data accuracy, chart of account use, and forecast / budget submissions.

• High Quality output - Delivering high quality business commentary and presentations right first time, including excellent “story telling” skills.

About you

You’ll embody the Mind Gym ingredients and be excited by driving continued growth and improved performance throughout the business. Specifically, you’ll be:

• Qualified accountant with relevant PQE
• Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
• Deeply analytical and numerate with advanced excel skills
• Self-motivated and driven with experience working in fast growth entrepreneurial businesses
• Strong project management & able to prioritise workload, cover all bases and be able to dive into the detail when necessary
• An excellent communicator with inter-personal skills to articulate and influence decision makers with clear and concise information.
• Effectively dealing with ambiguity, uncertainty, and urgent time critical responses
• Experience with Netsuite and Anaplan are preferred, though not essential
