Platform Engineer

Sweep is actively seeking aPlatform Engineer, based in France, to join our mission of combating climate change by enhancing our technical infrastructure and processes.

As a Platform Engineer at Sweep, you will be a crucial Platform team member, responsible for managing our infrastructure, maintaining our self-hosted GitHub, ensuring compliance, keeping clean logs, and overseeing security. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our systems, with a focus on continuous integration and deployment.

As a member of the Platform team, your responsibilities will include:

1. Infrastructure Management 🛠️

You will manage and improve Sweep's technical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

2. Self-hosted GitHub Maintenance 🪜

You will maintain our self-hosted GitHub, ensuring it's up-to-date, secure, and optimal for our development teams.

3. Compliance 🔒

You will ensure that our systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

4. Log Management 🪄

You will oversee the management of system logs, ensuring they are clean, well-organized, and useful for troubleshooting and system improvement.

5. Security 🛡️

You will implement and manage security measures and data protection protocols to protect our systems and data.

Qualifications 🏆

• Mid-level experience as a Platform Engineer or a similar software engineering role
• Proficiency in AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, Terraform
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Knowledge and experience in data modeling, database design, and data management
• Familiarity with high-traffic systems
