You will work closely with our hosts, guests, cleaners and other stakeholders to gain deep insights into their behaviour and needs. You will build the strategic vision for our data team, drive an analytical roadmap, and oversee the development and implementation of data-driven products and features.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement an analytical roadmap that aligns with Houst's business strategy.
• Drive the development of data-driven products and features that improve the experience and earnings of our hosts and guests.
• Establish and promote data-driven decision-making across the company.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Manage our data infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, reliable, and scalable.
• Keep up to date with emerging trends and techniques in data science and inform the company about how these can be applied to improve Houst's operations and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• LookML knowledge
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Deep understanding of business intelligence and analytics, data modeling, and engineering.
• Proven record of developing and delivering data-driven products and features.
• Solid experience with data management tools and technologies like FiveTran, AWS, and SQL.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
• Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
