As we continue to help organisations navigate change, we have expanded our offering to measure employee home working experience to help organisations understand and plan for their future using our data-driven
solutions.
The Product Manager is a new role within Leesman. The responsibilities of this role have been shared by various team members until this point, but as the business grows and the product offering expands, we need central ownership over our product.
The employee in this position is responsible for:
- Having a clear understanding of client needs, business needs, and product capabilities to design and plan for relevant features/enhancements
- Being comfortable speaking with clients to understand their experience using our products
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the product, working closely with business teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value
- Planning and prioritising product development and product feature backlog based on their potential impact, technical feasibility, and alignment with business objectives
- Ensure the backlog is visible, clear, and prioritised
- Developing detailed product feature specifications and ensuring they're clearly understood by relevant teams
- Collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define detailed product requirements
- Collaborating closely with engineering team, providing guidance and clarifications as needed
- Effectively communicate status and timeline for product features to technology team and other stakeholders
- Maintaining the product roadmap and keeping the company informed on all things related to the product
Requirements for success:
- 3-5 years of experience working across engineering, design, and client-facing teams
- Ability to understand technical language and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Use of JIRA, agile project management methodologies/other product management software
- Comfortable conversing with senior stakeholders from global organisations
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Adept at problem-solving, detail-oriented and someone who thrives on taking ownership
This role reports to the Deputy CEO. This is a full-time, permanent position and a hybrid role.
