In 2023, Founders Forum Group acquired Tech Nation to continue to execute against Tech Nation’s mission to empower tech entrepreneurs, scale innovative startups, and provide a united platform for UK tech founders. We are now relaunching the programmes, insights, global talent and rising stars pillars of Tech Nation. As part of this, we are looking for a Programme Administrator to help continue the incredible work of the Global Talent Visa endorsement programme and help to write the next thrilling chapter of innovation in the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
- Utilising Tech Nation’s systems, oversee and operate the core endorsement application process between the Home Office and Tech Nation’s assessors, ensuring the effective handling of visa endorsement applications within required time constraints.
- Maintain effective communications and collaboration with key government departments and administrative teams, raising or addressing any issues in a timely manner.
- Support the Senior Programme Manager with developing the Advisory Partner group, and assist with finding, recruiting and onboarding new Advisory Partners in order to keep pace with growth in application volumes for the Global Talent programme.
- Calculate and process the monthly and quarterly invoices for both Government departments and Advisory Partners respectively, working with the Finance team for processing.
- Ensure critical application and invoicing data is kept up to date, accurate and secure.
- Manage the formal programme and general enquiries email inboxes, responding to any incoming enquiries and assisting applicants or assessors where appropriate.
- Share ideas for continual improvements of the Global Talent endorsement programme in order to maintain the highest operational and assessment standards, in addition to meeting the objective of increasing the number of high quality of applications.
- Be willing to assist the wider programme team with various activities such as events and the Alumni Network.
- Routinely collect, monitor and report KPIs for Operational activity
Requirements
- Some previous experience in business administration or data processing is highly desirable
- Experience in 'Talent or 'Immigration' is not required. It is more important that you have the desire to learn.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in information processing
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable working with digital systems and a willing to learn
- Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and assist the Senior Programme Manager
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues in a timely manner, raising concerns, and proposing solutions when necessary.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks
- Customer Service Orientation: Willingness to assist visa applicants and assessors
- Data Management: Ability to ensure critical application and invoicing data is kept up to date, accurate, and secure.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in collecting, monitoring, and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to operational activities.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Actively participate in suggesting ideas for improving process
