Low Carbon is a purpose driven company that creates large-scale renewable energy in the global fight against climate change. Our mission is to protect the planet for future generations while delivering positive returns for our communities and investors. Our goal is to produce as much new renewable energy as possible while limiting our own environmental impact. We do this by developing, investing in, and operating large-scale renewable energy projects across the globe.

Our partnership with the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) is enabling us to accelerate the deployment of large-scale renewable energy and underpins our ambition to transform the global energy sector from fossil fuels to zero carbon.

Role Description

In 2024 we will open a range of internships across areas key to our development plans and we want to hear from candidates who are keen to put their learning to practical use in a purpose driven, high performing environment with a focus on having a lasting impression on climate change.

We expect to hire a mix of candidates who are currently studying, or who have completed their studies and are looking for the first role in industry. You could be doing a Degree, Masters, MBA or an equivalent form of study, and where possible we will be flexible to shape the internship around your academic commitments. You would most likely be based in one of our offices (London, Gloucester, Glasgow, Exeter, Berlin) for a minimum of 10 weeks.
