The Role:
Flash Pack is searching for a Head of Pricing, to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our pricing strategy. Reporting into our CFO, this is a collaborative role, where you'll work closely with cross-functional teams. You will have a deep understanding of our products, value propositions, and unique selling points (USPs). Your expertise will be crucial in implementing dynamic pricing systems, understanding customer behaviour, and contributing to the evolution of Flash Pack's pricing playbook.
Results You'll Drive:
- Lead pricing and costings for new and existing products, actively contributing to target cost development during trip planning.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, offering profound insights into costs and customer behaviour.
- Take ownership of the pricing and costing aspects when launching new trips, ensuring alignment with target prices.
- Influence and contribute to shaping Flash Pack's evolving pricing playbook over time.
- Collaborate with tech teams to implement efficient systems for costings and dynamic pricing strategies, ensuring seamless integration into Flash Pack's operational framework.
- Employ a holistic approach to pricing analysis, going beyond rigid accounting practices.
- Provide in-depth insights into the value proposition of trips, considering market trends and buyer-supplier dynamics.

- Startup experience is highly desirable, showcasing adaptability and a proactive approach.
- Proven experience in pricing management, with a focus on commercial finance or pricing.
- Proven experience in influencing margins, developing target costs, and partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing dynamic pricing strategies.
- Ability to understand the value of products and services beyond binary accountancy.
- Be comfortable going with the flow and dealing with things that are intangible.
- Familiarity with technology integration for pricing tools.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align pricing with overall business goals.
- Finance background, preferably in commercial finance or pricing, with a holistic view of pricing analysis.
The nice-to-haves:
- Travel industry experience
- Proven success in a fast-paced (series A → B) startup B2C environment
What else
Salary: The salary range for this role is between £80,000-£90,000 depending on experience. We also offer stock options after your first year with the company.
Hours: This role is Monday to Friday but you should be happy working some evenings and weekends if required.
Location: We call our way of working ‘remote-flexible’. You can work from anywhere in the UK as long as you are happy to come to London every 6-8 weeks or so. If you enjoy more regular face to face interaction, living close to London would be advantageous.
