The role of Senior Marketing Executive:
Campaign management: Managing campaigns across integrated marketing channels to multiple target segments
Drive sales: Optimising our marketing funnels to drive volume and conversion rates
Push for quality: Ensuring the effectiveness of our marketing to drive commercial goals

Meet your Manager:
Hello! I’m Paddy and I’m responsible for Customer Marketing at Glean.
I’ve been a Gleanster for over 2 years, previously working as Marketing Manager for an international conference company. Glean is a fantastic place to work - a brilliant team, great opportunities for development, and a vision to make a difference. I’m looking for an experienced B2B marketer with a growth mindset to take our team to the next level!
What you’ll be doing:
Email Marketing:
Take our growth to the next level by delivering effective email marketing campaigns to delight Glean’s customers and drive upsell interest.
- Plan email campaigns, setting clear goals, strategy, and tactics. Manage and report on key email metrics.
- Turn messaging into compelling copy that increases conversions.
- Carry out tests and experiments to help optimize our email campaigns.
Account Based Marketing:
- Execute on specific marketing campaigns to target accounts.
- Use web, email, and events to provide compelling messaging to target accounts.
- Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure alignment over our approach to the target accounts.
- Research and obsess over our target accounts - know them inside and out.
Marketing Automation:
- Manage our email automation campaigns across a number of segments, ensuring the right messages are presented to the right people at the right time.
- Use our CRM (Hubspot) to plan nurture campaigns, setting clear goals. Manage and report on key email metrics.
- Prioritize email and data health in all campaigns.
- Work with the Content team to ensure relevant content is being sent at the right opportunities.
About you:
- Experienced in managing email marketing and automation campaigns.
- Confident running ABM campaigns.
- A confident copywriter who can turn messaging into compelling copy.
- Obsessed with learning - always wanting to upskill and invest in your development.
- Experienced in B2B marketing.
The ‘nice to haves’ but not essential:
- You have experience with an EdTech brand and understand the complexities of the Education market.
- You have experience with Hubspot CRM.
- You have experience in a startup or scaleup environment.
💰Salary and benefits:
£35,000 - £40,000 dependent upon experience

Location:
We have a beautiful office space in Leeds and we love it when we get together to collaborate in person. We typically operate a hybrid way of working, however some of our roles support remote working within the UK, if you live more than 50 miles from the office.

If we invite you to meet with us for interview, here’s an overview of what the process will look like:
- Screening interview with someone in our Recruitment team (30 minutes).
- First stage interview with the hiring manager and another Glean colleague (1 hour).
- Final stage interview which includes a 1 hour culture and values interview, plus a 30 minute task. You will be meeting with the hiring manager and one of the Executive Team.
Ahead of your interview you will receive a confirmation email outlining who you’ll be meeting and when, anything you’ll need to prepare in advance and any resources we think you might find helpful.
