About the role
We are welcoming applicants with up to 3 years of professional experience who can demonstrate they have produced high-quality social media and blog content and explored using generative AI to do it.
We’re looking for a super smart social-native person who loves problem-solving and wants to own the creation and nurturing of our customer community through content on and off social platforms. You’ll be creative, know what’s trending and engage customers with killer content.
This role is designed for anyone who has done the following:
Created exciting UGC-like content for financial services and products
Created blogs, emails or other written content explaining financial services and products to consumers
Managed and collaborated with influencers
Invested their time exploring how generative AI can be used in content creation
followed up rigorously on what they have learned and experienced to upgrade their knowledge going forward
In short, we want someone who has experience with UGC video, standard video, and long-form copy in personal finance apps or sites that could include banking, credit products, remittances, investments, trading, insurance or any other personal finance needs.
You’ll be working in a small, ambitious, and fast-paced team of data-driven troubleshooters, so this role is for thorough, self-reliant, and curious applicants.
This role should be the subject matter expert for all video and content creation teaching the organisation best practices.
Your team’s objectives
We are responsible for the growth of all lending products, historically driven by partner and product initiatives in a B2B2C model.
We are now expanding the team to include talented marketers as we combine our products into a single app for customers and launch direct marketing.
How you’ll impact those objectives
You will begin by learning about our various products, current acquisition dynamics, historical B2C test campaigns and current tests being built.
You will then be responsible for planning, writing, producing and editing creatives that power our B2C marketing, supported by the rest of the organisation.
You will manage the publishing and cadence of output from our social media accounts.
You will work hand-in-hand with our new Head of Growth to develop the proposition and write or video exciting and clear content for consumers.
Once the product-market fit is established, the company is ready to materially resource and invest in the campaigns unlocking role progression associated with scaling up the team to be as effective as possible in the long run.
What do you need to succeed in this role
Evidence of excellence in something that you are passionate about
Ability to use generative AI to produce the best possible content at scale using tools, such as Jasper.ai
Deep experience with all core advertising platforms (e.g. Meta, TikTok, Snap)
Strong understanding of consumer regulations related to financial promotions
Strong written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail and nuance
Excitement about the opportunity to work in a real entrepreneurial environment and have a real impact on the business
The interview process
We’re not a corporate so we try our best to get things moving as quickly as possible. For this role we’d expect:
A 30-minute introductory phone with one of the team,
A short take-home task illustrating the type of work involved.
Up to 2-3 onsite interviews with the various employees you are likely to work with, using your take-home task as a basis of discussion and collaboration.
