About the Role

Bikmo is on the hunt for a CRM Specialist to support the company’s ambitious growth targets and create a leading communications experience for our customers. The role will lead the CRM platform (Dotdigital/Mailchimp) and be hands-on implementing new automated campaigns, ensuring we have the correct data flowing through to achieve objectives and the creating engaging comms across all territories (UK, Ireland, Germany and Austria).

How you will contribute 

• Build, test and schedule ad-hoc and automated email/SMS campaigns to engage / x-sell / convert customers as well as non-customers.
• Identify new opportunities to automate key messages and optimise existing campaign assets.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop inspiring creative email campaigns. Includes creative agencies, product and engineering teams. 
• Monitor and report the effectiveness of campaigns, seeking ways to continuously improve.
• Support in generating new ideas to retain existing customers, increase their lifetime value, and convert our database of prospects.

You will be a self-directed person who can manage your own time and can collaborate with people who have different working styles in different time zones. What we are looking for;

• Experience in CRM or an email marketing role is essential, including the use of a CRM platform (Mailchimp or Dotdigital is a plus).
• Confident in engaging and briefing various stakeholders.
• Able to thrive in both a creative and data-led environment.

Additional requirements which might help your application:

• Experience working in the insurance industries within the UK, Germany, France and/or the Netherlands. 
• Wider marketing or communications experience outside of CRM.
• Knowledge of the cycling industry.
• A passion for cycling and knowledge of different cycling tribes.
• German speaking (optional).

• This is a fully remote role. We are targeting candidates to be based in the UK however we willconsider Germany, Austria or France for the right candidate. Your onboarding will take place over a week in our Chester or Innsbruck office, and you will be required to attend one of our offices for a minimum of 3 days per quarter.
