We're an early stage startup part of the Founders Factory Venture Studio in partnership with global brand activation agency, Pico. To navigate the early stages of our growth, we're now seeking a Business Development generalist who can spearhead our sales and marketing efforts.

The Role

Your primary responsibility will be to engage potential partners, including corporate and brand marketing teams, ensuring we make the right connections and gather the right feedback to build momentum and refine our value offering. 

We're looking for someone who's keen to wear multiple hats: Your day-to-day will involve a mix of strategic outreach, sales pipeline management, and creative online campaign development. You'll be instrumental in building relationships that convert into meaningful partnerships, driving the adoption of our innovative sponsorship solutions.

This role will start out as a contractor position of 20 hours per week with the potential to grow into fixed employment.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation: Own the outreach process to potential partners, focusing on Marketing Teams and Sponsors, to introduce and sell Sponso.ai's offerings and collect feedback. Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust lead list, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities to present our solutions to marketing teams. Initial Engagements: Coordinate and conduct first calls with marketing teams, setting the stage for successful partnerships. Sales Support: Craft compelling sales materials and presentations that effectively communicate the value of our data-driven sponsorship intelligence. Campaign Management: Support the creation and execution of online campaigns, closely monitoring conversion rates and optimizing strategies for better performance. Performance Measurement: Take charge of measuring the Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) of advertising campaigns, using insights to refine and improve marketing efforts.

Must-haves

Proven experience in building and managing sales pipelines, with a strong track record of closing deals. Confidence in conducting cold outreach and selling new technology products, particularly in the event or marketing space. Skilled in creating sales materials, with a keen eye for measuring their impact and effectiveness. Evidence of a growth mindset and openness to take on new challenges and responsibilities as the company grows.

Nice-to-haves

A deep interest in product development Previous experience in creating and managing online advertising campaigns, with a solid understanding of tracking and conversion metrics Experience in an early-stage startup environment
