Role Summary

Role Requirements
- A Master's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Financial Accounting/Reporting.
- Strong accounting, financial analysis, and reporting skills.
- Experience with Excel/Google Sheets, Looker, and Netsuite is advantageous.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills with a fast-learning, ambitious mindset.
- Excellent collaboration abilities across various departments.

Your impact
As the Junior Financial Controller at Otrium, you are part of the Otrium Finance team. You will report directly into the Head of Finance and work within the Financial controlling and reporting team and closely together with the Financial operation team. Your main focus will be the cost side of the P&L, such as Fulfilment & Shipping costs. As the Junior Financial Controller you ensure completeness and accuracy of these costs and you prepare analyses for the Fulfilment & Shipping department. You are responsible for performing and documenting the controls within these financial processes to keep our partners and suppliers happy, by ensuring our financial data can be used for informed decision making. You will also have the opportunity to implement process improvements which will make our processes more scalable and O-wesome!
Your responsibilities
- Ensuring completeness and accuracy of the financial administration in close collaboration with the Financial Operation team,
- Fulfilment & Shipping costs reconciliations and analyses
- Control improvement & implementation of the Fulfilment & Shipping process
- Internal communication with Fulfilment & Shipping department regarding results and budget discussions
- External communication with Fulfilment & Shipping suppliers regarding supporting reporting documents and improvements needed.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Business or related discipline
- 1-3 years relevant working experience in Financial Accounting / Reporting
- A proven track record in accounting, financial analysis and preparation of financial reports
- Experience in process improvements is a plus
- Ability to work with large data-sets, Excel/Google sheets pro. Experience with Looker and Netsuite is a plus
- An analytical and critical mindset with the ability to quickly adapt to change
- Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and stakeholders
- A fast-learning, ambitious and open mindset
