Role Summary

Role Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Copywriter in-house or at an agency.
  • Experience with 360º marketing campaigns and brand voice development.
  • Interest in women’s career development and gender equity.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge of marketing ecosystems and project stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic understanding of keyword search and SEO.

Job Purpose

As Brand Copywriter, you’ll work closely with the Marketing Team and Digital/Tech Team, as well as any other stakeholder roles, to collaborate, conceptualise and craft ideas from inception to release.

You’ll have a strong ability to take both a creative and strategic approach to a wide variety of B2B and B2C projects – from event write-ups, social media posts and email communications to global marketing campaigns with brand partners. You will bring a consistent and impactful tone of voice to the AllBright brand across every touchpoint.

An organised, dedicated approach to work is a must with the ability to juggle and prioritise multiple projects. You’ll be required to take responsibility for the work you produce, ensuring it is of the highest quality, and demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail whilst being completed to deadline.

Outline of Key Responsibilities

  • Keep up to date with industry-related topics and be responsive to evolving practices
  • Create and oversee reports and tests on content regularly and update the team on results
  • Identify gaps in content, undertake research to validate storytelling and spotlight opportunities
  • Work closely with designers to craft compelling stories through marketing channels, customer experience and pitch decks
  • Produce targeted and effective copy for various channels including paid social, email, landing pages, events and more with a view to increasing retention and conversion
  • Optimise articles using SEO best practices to increase visibility online
  • Understand the needs of partnerships, acquisition, and retention marketing to translate them into effective and impactful content campaigns
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of campaign objectives and devise strategies to achieve them
  • Check copy generated by team members and offer feedback where necessary
  • Develop creative strategies that are forward-thinking and in-line with current media trends
  • Be present across all teams to align copy with visual, for small- and large-scale projects across the business

Person Specification [Attributes, skills, qualifications, experience]

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Copywriter role, either in-house or at an agency
  • Proven experience with idea generation and concept development, with a supporting portfolio
  • Proven experience working on fully integrated 360º marketing campaigns and brand voice development for a fast growth brand, for both B2B and B2C
  • A keen interest in women’s issues, particularly around career development and gender equity in the workplace
  • Passionate about writing and their craft, and help to develop the brand's tone of voice across all communications and write compelling copy that gets results
  • Good understanding of the marketing ecosystem and stakeholder touch points throughout a project
  • A great communicator with a natural warmth and positivity, inspiring others to want to write better copy when they must
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, manage turnaround time confidently and seamlessly switch between tasks where needed
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to proof-read efficiently
  • Basic keyword search knowledge
  • Someone ready to get stuck in, not afraid to make their mark, to influence others
