Role Summary

  • Develop and lead the global Employee Play Engagement strategy.
  • Execute impactful yearly plans that integrate Learning through Play into our culture and processes.
  • Manage and enhance a portfolio of playful learning experiences for employees.
  • Direct the global signature event, Play Day, and innovate our volunteering approach.
  • Build strong cross-functional networks to embed playful learning throughout the organization.

Role Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent experience in business, creative, or learning fields.
  • Proven leadership in groundbreaking programs and corporate culture initiatives.
  • Expertise in communication, collaboration, and project management.
  • Experience with playful learning and a passion for being a playful work culture role model.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Be ready to lead and inspire our Employee Play Engagement team in creating outstanding employee experiences and volunteering opportunities that will encourage our colleagues to bring more Learning through Play into work, home, and communities, to enable the LEGO Group to lead by example as a Global Force for Learning through Play.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive and innovate the direction and strategy for the Employee Play Engagement Agenda globally. Transform strategy into impactful implementation through yearly plans and strong collaboration and engagement to make the implementation sticky
  • Deliver impact for the organization, and activate our vision to become a Global Force for Learning through Play among colleagues, through a varied portfolio of online and offline offerings. You’ll get an opportunity to demonstrate your ability to scale programs and inject operational efficiency
  • Inspire and develop the Employee Play Engagement Team, responsible for the global agenda, through role-modelling playful culture and a trusted and safe space
  • As part of the Social Responsibility Leadership Team, contribute to setting the direction for Social Responsibility as one team, and help us deliver on the Social Responsibility Aspiration 2032 to multiply our impact
  • Grow and orchestrate the close relationship with key functions to build and embed Learning through Play across the company and into key processes

Play your part in our team succeeding

This role is critical in creating the right environment and experiences to integrate learning through play into our ways of working and key processes as well as continuing to build and even accelerate a movement to activate as many colleagues as possible to enable us to become a Global Force for Learning through Play. Further, focus is also on driving and implementing creative solutions for our day-to-day work through our digital platform PlayYourPart.com, integration in processes and teams, directing our signature event, the global Play Day, as well as continuously innovating our approach to volunteering. This role works cross-functionally and depends on creating a strong network across the organization.

Do you have what it takes?

  • University Degree or equivalent experience in a business, creative or learning function or similar
  • Demonstrated ability of leading a ground-breaking program/agenda, working with company culture, and leading diverse teams to success. It’s a plus if you’ve worked with building and driving movements
  • Skilled communicator, preferably with playful learning experience and comfortable presenting in front of audiences of all backgrounds
  • Strong collaboration skills, motivated by an excellent understanding of business needs and corporate processes. Working thoughtfully across diverse functional teams, and being able to drive complicated networks to joint success
  • Strategic toolkit and sound project management experience
  • Embraces a playful attitude to work and ready to be a role model in the Global Force for Learning through Play
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
