Role Summary
- Partner with the Head of People Operations to enhance startup operations, from onboarding to employee development.
- Collaborate with the Director of Talent on recruitment strategies and processes, including automating systems and sourcing talent.
- Become adept at using key platforms such as TriNet PEO, LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse ATS, Notion, and more.
Role Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Talent, HR, or People Operations within a fast-paced, scaling startup.
- Professional maturity, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for creating efficient processes.
- Proven ability or eagerness to learn sourcing technical talent using LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Quick learner with the ability to master new platforms and tools rapidly.
- Knowledge of Slack, Notion, and Gsuite is beneficial.

We’re building a world-class organization of ambitious, thoughtful and collaborative humans and as our Talent/HR Generalist you’ll work closely with our Head of People Operations and Director of Talent to more than double our team in 2024! You’ll also get exposure to the entire business, working cross functionally with each department to help find exceptional talent and work dynamically on projects that aid in retention, culture and learning and development.
This is a full time position based out of our headquarters in Berkeley, CA. While we are an onsite-first company, we appreciate work life balance and are open to flexible hybrid work.
Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000
What You’ll Do Here
- Work directly with our Head of People Operations learning and improving the machinery that keeps a startup running and thriving. This could be elevating our onboarding process to developing learning and development opportunities to planning out benefits
- Learn and collaborate with our Director of Talent to create sourcery on a daily basis–from hiring manager wrangling to keeping processes beautiful to automating everything possible
- Source for talent that makes us stronger–sourcing is an art and a science and you love the creativity and strategy of the hunt
- Master the platforms that help us thrive: TriNet PEO, LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse ATS, Notion, G suite, Netsuite, Docusign, Carta and Pave
Your Skills and Abilities Include
- 2+ years of experience in Talent, HR, or People Operations, or wearing several hats in a fast paced, scaling start up
- Professional maturity, highly organized and you create efficient processes for fun
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter with a successful track record of sourcing technical talent–or a fire in your belly to learn how
- Knowledge of Slack, Notion and Gsuite a plus, but the ability to master platforms quickly is a must
