Volunteer Treasurer

What will you be doing?

Sanctuary Breaks has embarked on its first year as a registered charity. We are looking for  a Treasurer who is willing to be hands on with our budgeting, bookkeeping and accounts, as we settle down, and raise funds for paid financial help. The role will evolve into that of Treasurer proper, overseeing the financial and accounting process, and playing a full role as a member of the Board. The related CIC, Hill House Retreats, requires a similar function. The role can largely be carried out remotely, but with the ability to engage with Sanctuary Breaks, and its base in Hill House, Stroud ; and to meet with the Director a  couple of times a year.    

What are we looking for?

Financial oversight and experience, and accounting skills. Willingness to be part of a dynamic and committed team of Trustees.

What difference will you make?

The role of Treasurer is vital for us - not only do we need someone to keep us on track financially and make us viable, but even more significantly, we are looking for someone to be part of the team as we formulate our vision for the future.
