What will you be doing?
Following the unexpected death of our Treasurer we are hoping got recruit someone to help us with our finances. We are looking for someone with financial knowledge and some awareness of financial packages and good computer skills. An enhanced DBS check would be required for this role which we can arrange. Specific responsibilities would include: - the preparation of the annual accounts for verification by an accountant. - keeping accurate records of financial transactions and accounts. - maintaining relevant bank account(s) and keeping up to date with any correspondence with the bank on behalf of the organisation. - maintaining communication with County/Region - advising on financial matters as appropriate. - reporting to the trustees on the financial position in order to ensure appropriate use of funds. - preparing end-of-year accounts for independent examination. - ensuring correct financial procedures are in place and maintained. - attending Trustee meetings and liaising with our office manager
What are we looking for?
The person we are looking for will be computer literate, have financial knowledge eg book keeping and financial management and some awareness of financial packages.
