What will you be doing?
Being a Trustee can be hard work but is also rewarding, giving many chances for personal development and the chance to give something back to your community. How much of your time it will take can vary, especially if you take on additional commitments but on average it will be around 4 to 6 hours per month. Our Trustees come from all walks of life, bringing their experience and individual skills to our scheme. The kind of skills that are in demand are: · Business links · Personnel management · Finance · Fundraising · Information technology · Communications But you don’t need special skills or qualifications to be a Trustee. You do need common sense; an understanding of the pressures facing parents today; and a genuine interest in supporting parents in your community.

This is a vital role, and is so needed in todays environment, as you will be helping to ensure we can continue our support for families in the High Peak Derbyshire. As a trustee, you will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to help the strategic progression of the charity, and as part of our board you will be supporting our work, and strategic direction. Helping us achieve our purpose to improve children's quality of life by supporting their parents.
