Volunteer Treasurer (Trustee)

What will you be doing?

The Treasurer will: · Be a qualified accountant and a member of a professional body (i.e.; ACCA). · Have an interest and commitment to the work of our charity and its values and aims. · Be a Trustee and attend meetings 3 to 4 times per year, advising the board on how to carry out its financial responsibilities. · Prepare and submit annual accounts. · Give a written update at trustee meetings. · Assist with some day to day work, such as paying invoices and bookkeeping.

What are we looking for?

Be a qualified accountant and a member of a professional body (i.e.; ACCA). Have experience working in the charity sector (desirable). Have an interest and commitment to the work of our charity and its values and aims.
