Volunteer Income Generation Trustee

What will you be doing?

Lead the development of the income generation strategy Lead a team of volunteers to implement the income generation strategy Oversee fundraising activities to ensure the annual funding target in achieved Oversee volunteers in the writing of grant applications Lead on the marketing of merchandise in conjunction with the trustee for communications and marketing.

Additional responsibilities relating to the trustee post:

Contribute actively to the Board of Trustees in accordance with the Charity Commission's regulations and SRF's Governing Document and Code of Conduct Policy Use any specific skills, knowledge or experience to help the Board of Trustees reach sound decisions. This will involve scrutinising board papers, leading discussions, focussing on key issues, and providing advice and guidance requested by the board on new initiatives or other issues, to the area of the charity's work in which the trustee has special expertise Act as an ambassador for SRF and represent the interests of all stakeholders.

A love of spaniels Experience of developing and implementing a fundraising strategy, specifically with individual, corporate and community donors, access grants and online fundraising Enthusiasm to play an active role on the board and in fulfilling SRF's purpose Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills A track record in successful relationship building and influencing IT skills and data analysis

The role is key in generating the financial resources the charity needs to provide the healthcare and other support the rescue dogs need. a solid fundraising strategy will enable SRF to help as many dogs as possible.
