What will you be doing?

Space Trustee Role Description Purpose As a Trustee of Space Cheshire (Space) you have independent control over, and legal responsibility for the charity’s management and administration.ch it is set up and no other purpose. More specifically this means you should: The Treasurer The treasurer will take the lead on: o presenting financial reports in a format that helps trustees understand the charity’s financial position o advising the trustees on how to carry out its financial responsibilities o working with professional advisors o overseeing the preparation and scrutiny of annual accounts o supporting day to day financial duties, such as book-keeping, budgeting and preparation of reports. o making sure Space keeps proper accounts o reviewing Spaces financial performance o drawing up or reviewing policies for finance and investment o ensuring that Space has robust and effective financial controls in place o liaising with staff who have financial responsibility and with Space’s independent examiner or auditor o reporting on financial matters to co-trustees

What are we looking for?

The expertise to shape and enhance corporate strategy and business growth. In depth knowledge of Xero would be helpful.
