What will you be doing?

We are seeking new voices and additional skills to expand the breadth of experience informing the governance of the MAGENTAVERSE. We are seeking candidates with skills in one or more of the following areas to join our Board from Autumn 2023:

Marketing Fundraising Artistic creative processes Sporting acitivity Leadership Education / educational settings

The role of the Board of Trustees is to support the strategic vision and leadership of the charity. Trustees will ensure that we as a CIC remain true to our values and mission and that the organisation and its resources are well managed. Key responsibilities involve:

Attending all Board meetings, or finding alternative ways to support the decision making processes as needed. Contributing expertise and time to developing the aims and goals of MAGENTAVERSE CIC, not only in Board meetings, but through extra tasks as mutually agreed and required. Sitting on sub-groups, advisory groups, recruitment panels etc. as required. Actively contributing to Board recruitment, development, review, and succession planning. Advocating for and representing the CIC externally as required.

We are seeking Trustees with experience of working within the below areas and with strong networks in Birmingham and wider West Midlands.
