What will you be doing?
We require someone to promote our events on social media using all platforms, help with the design of more professional posters and posts. Set up a blog for the community to follow and give us a better online presence Design and run a newsletter that can be emailed to all our community covering our achievements, events, volunteer stories, good news etc The aim is to help us become more well known so that we get more visitors to the centre which in turn gives us the chance to support and help more people Volunteers will work closely with CEO and volunteer Coordinator to develop a strategy for social media and newsletter. Volunteers will be in contact with other staff to collate information to use for advertising
What are we looking for?
To have a passion for families and their community To have ideas of how to reach a bigger audience Experience in digital marketing and design People skills and confidence to speak to the local community and families that visit The Gap Centre A good understanding of advertising and social media
What difference will you make?
You help will help to get our charity on the map, so that more people will find us and give us the opportunity to support more families and individuals. You expertise will enable us to reach out to more people and give them the chance to find out about the opportunities and events we provide. There is a big focus or mental health and isolation at the moment and our passion it to provide ways of dealing with those issues as well as offering a safe space to visit, the more people we reach the more people we can help.
