What will you be doing?
In order for the dancers to continue their incredible performing and presenting work, Tailfeatherdance is looking for someone very special who is able to source suitable funding opportunities and complete grant applications. Ideally, you will have demonstrable fundraising experience within the charity / not-for-profit and/or Arts sector, as well as an understanding of how to approach fundraising in the current climate. This position would suit someone who can work independently at home. It is expected that this position would include:
approaching businesses, local authorities, trusts and individuals to secure funding. planning donation campaigns and events. controlling budgets and working to targets.
Key skills would include:
sales and negotiation abilities communication skills IT and social media skills good organisation administrative and project management skills resourcefulness the ability to build and maintain professional relationships creative thinking initiative and the ability to solve problems.

Someone who sees these dancers and thinks 'Wow, I need to help them to carry on!' Vision is wonderful but turning that vision into reality is a talent! Someone with tenacity and a big heart would be ideal. Key skills:

It would be of enormous value to have someone who can translate ideas and vision into clear and concise project summaries.
What difference will you make?
This would make all the difference. With funding for hall hire, salaries, core costs, the dancers would be able to meet weekly to create and develop live and digital performance work. This would enable them to maintain the friendships and working relationships they have as a team. It would continue to develop their confidence as creative dance artists and enable them to explore dance as an art form further.
