The role We are looking for a Research Lead to sit within the Mental Health Translation team, to lead the development of the psycho-social portfolio of tools and interventions maximising impact in alignment with the Wellcome Mental Health Strategy. This role is part of the Mental Health team at Wellcome, which has a long-term remit to fund research that leads to an increased ability to act earlier and to use personalised interventions to prevent people from being held back by mental health problems, focusing in on depression, anxiety and psychosis.
Job requirements You will need to have significant expertise in relation to at least one specialist area of mental health science, broadly defined, plus experience in translational research. Knowledge of psycho-social interventions would also be desirable. A PhD is not essential, but experience of conducting research in academia, industry or third sector organisations will be advantageous.

Additional Information We are currently working 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) from our Euston Road offices (as part of our hybrid Ways of Working) with the remaining 3 days from home.
