Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or Management (preferred)

  • Familiar with sales qualification frameworks and CRM tools
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great adaptability, and comfortable managing shifting priorities
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Commercially minded
  • Team player, with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Self-starter with aspiration to grow a mission-driven business
  • Exposure to international markets (preferred but not essential)

The Role: We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our Ghana team. Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager, and working closely with our CEO on complex or high-value projects, you will coordinate multiple sales pipelines, ensure next-best actions are followed up, and help achieve ambitious revenue targets. Key Responsibilities include lead generation & pipeline management, sales process leadership, proposal & pitch development, service development & commercialisation, stakeholder engagement, market insight & research, cross-team collaboration, strategic input, adaptability & prioritisation, and business development administration.

Qualifications and Key Competencies: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or Management is preferred. At least 3 years of proven experience in business development, sales or partnerships, preferably in corporate or B2B settings. Strong organisational, administrative, and coordination skills; able to manage multiple pipelines simultaneously. Familiar with sales qualification frameworks (e.g. BANT, MEDDIC) and CRM tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; persuasive and professional. Great adaptability, comfortable managing shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and multiple concurrent projects in a fast-moving environment. Strong research and analytical skills, with experience in conducting market and competitor analysis to identify trends in entrepreneurship, innovation, and DEI. Commercially minded, with an understanding of how to identify and shape opportunities into scalable service offerings. Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to work cross-functionally with programme, marketing, and leadership teams. Self-starter who views the role as an opportunity to grow and scale a mission-driven business, not just a job. Exposure to international markets is preferable but not essential.
