What will you be doing?
As a Fundraising Group Treasurer you will be supporting your local fundraising group by recording the income and expenditure of the group, banking funds regularly and keeping the members up to date with the fundraising income to totals. In this role you will also: • Maintain accurate records of all income and expenditure • Assign the correct banking codes to donations and issue receipts where required • Have confidence in handling cash for Guide Dogs • Bank funds promptly • Raise morale in teams meetings through sharing the success of money being raised • Volunteers must be 18 or over. • Volunteering with Guide Dogs should never leave you out of pocket, we will pay any expenses related to volunteering with us, including travel costs. This role can be flexible in terms of time, don’t worry if you don’t feel you tick every box, we would love to hear from you to discuss the role or other ways you can get involved in your local fundraising group.
