Volunteer Membership Support

What will you be doing?

Meet N Match is a friendship and dating agency for adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults. We provide opportunotes for people to have meaningful connections through first dates, friendship matches and members only events, in order to reduce social isolation. As membership support, we are looking for someone who can assist with the matching process and to build strong connections with our members through offering support calls. You will support the membership coordinator to match people based on their applications, then contact members and be an integral part of setting up thjose first dates. You will also provide support calls to members who are not engaging to provde updates on potential matches, members events and other areas of our organistion.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has administrative experience, excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills, excellent organisational skills and a willingness to support a wide range of personalities. A fantastic phone manner and an ability to emphasise with people. You will be dealing directly with people with learn4ing disabilties, autism as well as family members and support workers if they are supported.

What difference will you make?

Your input will have a significant impact on our organisation. Currently, we have around 50 members enrolled in our friendship and dating agency, and our membership coordinator faces challenges in handling support calls for all members while also organising exclusive meet-ups, matches, and first dates. Your support will enable her to delegate some tasks, ensuring a more consistent and enhanced level of assistance for our members.
