Volunteer SEND Lead Trustee

What will you be doing?

This role is to take the lead within the Trustee team for our Fair4All Education project. The Fair4All Education project tackles the most important educational issues facing disabled children and young people, and their parents/carers, in Bucks. Working under the BuDS umbrella, the Fair4All Education team works together to define an agenda for action and plan how change will be made to happen. Current areas of project work are listed below, but more will be added as the team and project develops.

What are we looking for?

Detailed knowledge of SEND education issues, whether as a professional, parent, or disabled young adult  

Experience of campaigning or lobbying for change 

Experience of supporting a staff and volunteer team 

Experience of belonging to, and reporting to, a senior leadership team or board of trustees
