Volunteer Fundraising Gala Events Advisor

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a volunteer to support our Social Awareness Department in organising our bi-annual Fundraising Gala. You will be assisting to raise awareness about Human Trafficking, Gender Based Violence and Child Marriage and to raise funds to support the services provided by the Restitution and Empowerment Departments. You will:

Work with the Social Awareness Manager to develop an effective strategy for the Gala Attend weekly virtual meetings with the Social Awareness Manager, to discuss and advance the vision of ROMILDAMOR’s Social Awareness Department Collaborate with the Sponsorship Team to procure sponsors and funding for the Gala from specific industries  Arrange logistics for the Gala with sponsors, keynote speakers, guests, venues and suppliers Collaborate with the Social Media Team to create promotional material, plan the marketing strategy for the event and the to plan the publishing of content Collaborate with the Media Team to capture content from the event.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience developing fundraising strategies in the not-for-profit sector The ability to work independently Comfortable both in planning and executing fundraisers Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
