What will you be doing?
Responsibility:
Advising on financial governance and best practice Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable Manage and deliver all annual and statutory financial reporting requirements Prepare materials and presentations for attendance at board meetings. Manage the annual budgeting process Assist in the annual financial audit as required Ensure compliance with accepted accounting principles (UK GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Make improvements to the design of management accounts and financial reports, as required
What are we looking for?
Qualifications:
Chartered accountant
Skills:
Experienced treasurer Experienced in financial governance in both the corporate and not-for-profit sector Financial strategist Excellent presentation and communication skills working with front-line staff, management and board members, especially in a remote working environment. Excellent analytical and organisational skills Excellent Microsoft office skills Team player with a positive attitude
Experience:
Experience of working with a C.I.C. a distinct advantage but not obligatory Knowledge of corporate tax is an additional benefit
