What will you be doing?

The Fundraiser will:  

Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential funding sources from grant-making bodies, including trusts, foundations, corporations, and other organizations. Develop and implement an effective grant writing calendar aligned with our fundraising objectives. Evaluate potential grants to determine the likelihood of success and prioritize applications accordingly. Collaborate with the Operations and Fundraising Manager to approach funders, generate interest in our work, and assess alignment with funding priorities. Write compelling grant applications, ensuring all required documentation is included and submitted in a timely manner. Monitor the status of submitted applications and communicate with grant managers throughout the application process. Review and disseminate feedback received from grant applications to inform future proposals Handle other ad hoc tasks and assignments as required.

What are we looking for?

Proven experience in a fundraising role, with at least 3 years of experience. Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to create persuasive and compelling bids. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey our organization's passion and commitment. Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work remotely and meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with the grant-making landscape and the ability to identify potential funding sources. Experience in securing high-value, multi-year funds through successful grant applications.
