What will you be doing?

At Geek.Zone, we are developing a new, community-focused, open source social platform to help all our members do everything they need as a Geek.Zone member. This includes,

Joining Geek.Zone Posting blog articles Purchasing Geek.Zone merch Accessing the 3D printer

...as well as much more! Our intention is to make this available to other communities in the future so that they too can benefit from the platform in the same way. We are using DevOps principles to build this in Python Django and Tailwind on the front end. We are also using Terraform across AWS and Azure to ensure high availability. To do this, we need you! This project has some very interesting challenges to overcome and problems to solve, so if you want to stretch your front-end development skills by contributing to an open-source, charity project, get in touch right now! What are we looking for?

We are seeking experienced Front End Development professionals who are looking to use their superpowers for good! Ideally, you will have at least 3 years of Front End Development Experience and are eager to expand your craft.
