Role SummaryImplement, maintain, scale, and deploy internal developer tools.Contribute to building and future-proofing the architecture of Numan's website.Work hands-on with coding practices using technologies like React, Tailwind, and Typescript.Develop tools for product teams and collaborate on creating user interfaces and experiences.

The role
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our motivated and growing Web Platform team. We are a fast-moving, agile team helping rethink the current platform architecture of the Numan customer experience. Working closely with product teams the Web Platform team aims to build a great platform for engineers, designers, and staff to help create the next chapter of the Numan website. You will be working with the team to manage our static eCommerce landing pages, a frontend mono-repo and design system as well as build new features to help drive the platform forward.
You’ll be:
Working in the Web Platform team, implementing, maintaining, scaling and deploying our internal developer tools and building the future architecture of the Numan website.
• Instrumental in building a health platform that helps men take better care of themselves.
• Hands-on with coding, best practices, appropriate tools and technologies. We are currently using React, Tailwind, and Typescript in our new platform; however, we are flexible with considering alternatives wherever these are better for the business.
• Architecting and developing our developer tooling and product team content tools.
• Advocating for and encourage high standards and best practices to maintain high code quality.
• Refactoring code and automate end-to-end testing suites.
• Collaborating with other parts of the business in clarifying requirements at the onset of projects and suggesting different and relevant technical approaches.
• Working with stakeholders to develop the roadmap around our website, as we add more complex features and verticals on numan.com.
• Working closely with the design and branding team to produce compelling user interfaces and experiences.
We’re looking for someone who has:
• Experience in building modern, scalable web applications using: JavaScript, ES6, HTML5, CSS3 and React.js.
• Knowledge with backend systems in Node and/or Python (Django)
• A deep appreciation of good design and UI/UX concepts and care deeply about the end product.
It’s a bonus if you have:
• Experience with with any modern JS frameworks such as Next.js, Vue.js, Ember.js, Typescript and CSS tools like Tailwind.
• Worked with web APIs.
• Used automated testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest etc.).
• A familiarity of working with or building design systems.
