The Role

Reporting directly into our Engineering Manager, you’ll be working on the full spectrum of our product range. Whilst you’ll have a focus on the front and back end software, we’ll also give you exposure to our full stack, meaning there’s plenty of opportunity to keep your Platform skills fresh, if that’s what you’d like to do.

You will be:

  • Improving the internal tools we’ve made to empower our operations and sales teams to manage the whole office process, gathering insightful data along the way.
  • Adding features to our tenant facing mobile app and website to create a seamless experience for them within their office.
  • Building our third party supply chain app to help organise the day to day work being done across all of our buildings.
  • Creating and maintaining microservices to power new features being built.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to take product feedback.
  • Contributing to our in house design system and component library.

Team Highlights

  • Quarterly hackdays
  • Integrated personal development time
  • Engineering show and tell over pizza and refreshments
  • Up-skilling budget
  • A culture focussed on developer experience and giving you a platform to thrive and grow both technically and personally

About you

  • Solving complex problems gives you a buzz, you have a product mindset and care about the customer experience.
  • You build products that are a joy to use, propagate a distinct brand identity and are all built with the next engineer in mind.
  • Ambitious and eager to work in a friendly startup with a wide-reaching ambition: to transform every space so that it best serves people and their purposes.
  • You want to be a part of a high-performing engineering team that is effective, enables engineers to focus on their strengths and supports them in their weaknesses.
  • You make a positive impact on your team's code quality and architecture.

Our Stack

Here's the technology we use, it would be ideal if you have some experience in these, but don’t worry if you don’t, we foster a culture of continuous learning and development, so you will have opportunity to get to grips with new technologies.

  • Frontend: Nextjs, React, Typescript
  • Backend: Golang, Graphql, Google Pubsub, Mysql
  • Platform: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform

Why Kitt?

The world of work has shifted forever. As people everywhere prioritise purpose over their paychecks, company culture has been thrown into the spotlight. But the problem is, too many companies are showing up to work in bland, cookie-cutter offices. We’re leading this change.

Real company culture can only be built in-person, in the real world – and for it to be authentic it needs its very own, personalised space. That’s why we create offices as unique as the brands and the people who work there. We’re long-term culture partners to our clients long after they've signed the lease and chosen the paint colours.
