Role Summary

Role Requirements

  • Degree in economics, science, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience in analytical roles or a Master's degree in a related area.
  • Interest in plastics, circular economy, and corporate reporting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel/Google Sheets) and familiarity with Qualtrics or SalesForce is a bonus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Must have existing right to work in the UK (no Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship available).

As part of our Plastics Initiative, you will work collaboratively across the Foundation to drive our common vision of a circular economy for plastic, in which it never becomes waste. You will be part of the Global Commitment team, who are responsible for engaging with the signatories and managing the annual reporting by more than 200 businesses and governments on their 2025 target progress, creating and publishing the annual Global Commitment Progress Report.

Your role will involve research and analysis, knowledge transfer, process management, and stakeholder engagement. You will be an integral part of the team creating the Global Commitment Progress Report, working with the Global Commitment team to gather, manage and analyse data from signatories to the Global Commitment to publish written and graphical insights on progress trajectory, common challenges and leading solutions to deliver our common vision.

The ideal candidate will have a good academic record and degree-level qualifications in economics, science, engineering, business, or other relevant discipline. 1-2 years previous experience in analytical roles as well as an interest in the plastics / circular economy / corporate reporting agenda or have a Masters degree in a related area. Experience with data management tools is a plus. Strong communications skills to work effectively with individuals at various management levels, across a variety of business functions, industries and geographies. Skilled in using data analysis tools, such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, is essential. Experience using software such as Qualtrics or SalesForce is desirable.

Please note that we are unable to sponsor a Skilled Worker Visa for this role, as it does not meet the current minimum stipulated salary level. All applicants must have an existing right to work in the UK.
