Role Summary

  • Support the design, build, test, and maintenance of Workday system enhancements.
  • Provide technical expertise in resolving system issues, ensuring data governance, accurate reporting, and security management.
  • Work closely with the People Systems Manager and contribute to the improved employee experience through system configurations.

Role Requirements

  • Experience in Workday module configuration, including Recruitment, Absence, Learning, and security management.
  • Ability to manage multiple configuration activities and work with AMS providers and Tableau.
  • Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of Project & Change Management in systems context.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and prioritizing workloads.
  • Understanding of GDPR and its application within system data management.

We are looking for a Workday Systems Analyst to join our team. You will work within the People Operations Team reporting to the People Systems Manager. The People Operations team aim is to deliver an enhanced employee experience by providing HR advice and assistance throughout the employee lifecycle. The People Systems team sit within People Operations and are responsible for maintaining and developing Workday to support the employee experience.

As a Workday Systems Analyst you will support the people systems manager in the design, build, testing and maintenance of configuration enhancements across the Workday system. You will provide technical level expertise in diagnosing and resolving applications or systems issues whilst ensuring robust data governance, accurate reporting, and security management.

This role requires someone who has experience in configuring Workday across different modules and can deliver system changes through from design to testing and implementation. You will be an organised individual with good attention to detail, able to manage multiple configuration activities across our range of modules.

We are looking for someone who has Workday systems experience, experience to include configuration, security management, knowledge of Recruitment, Absence & Learning and other workday modules. Has experience of working with Application Management Services (AMS) providers and with Tableau. Can effectively communicate and collaborate, with experience in Stakeholder Management. Has knowledge of Project & Change Management (Systems). Is able to troubleshoot & problem solve with excellent organisational skills and able to balance multiple deadlines, prioritising workload based on urgency. Has a good understanding of GDPR and application of the principles to manage data within the system.
