  • Translate complex business requirements into well-architected solutions.
  • Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code that makes an impact.

  • 5+ years of experience in Back End Engineering, ideally in an international startup.
  • Expertise in PHP, Symfony, NodeJS, and Kubernetes application development.
  • Proficient in microservices, GraphQL, and Rest APIs design and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of message brokers and queue systems (e.g., Redis, Kafka).
  • Experience with various data storage solutions (e.g., DynamoDB, MySQL).
  • Strong understanding of Domain Driven Design principles.
  • Committed to rigorous testing practices.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Your responsibilities

  • Understanding business requirements and design/architecture solutions accordingly
  • Writing clean, maintainable, optimised and scalable code
  • Writing comprehensive unit/integration tests and actively participating in peer reviews/testing
  • Taking ownership of the existing/new modules/projects, ensuring stability
  • Setting up monitoring and implementing improvements proactively
  • Being the owner of your service’s availability
  • Providing clear documentation to both business and tech teams
  • Promoting engineering excellence and best practices within the team

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Back End Engineer, ideally within an international start-up company
  • Proficiency in crafting applications capable of seamless scalability, architecting robust frameworks
  • Fluent in PHP, particularly Symfony, and NodeJS - you're a pro with building applications in Kubernetes 
  • Expertise in designing and maintaining microservices as well as GraphQL and Rest APIs
  • Understanding of message broker and queue systems, from Redis to Kafka
  • Extensive experience across various data storage platforms, from DynamoDB to MySQL
  • Advocate for the principles of Domain Driven Design, crafting systems with clarity and purpose
  • Well-versed in the art of testing, from unit tests to integration tests, ensuring the reliability and functionality of systems.
  • Fluency in English - other languages are a plus!
