Role Summary:Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to expand Ecosia's user base and reinforce brand loyalty.Drive the company's growth and establish Ecosia as an international climate tech leader.Oversee all marketing initiatives, from performance marketing to social media and influencer campaigns.Lead a dynamic team in a remote-friendly and flexible work environment.

Role Requirements:A minimum of 10 years in marketing with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.Demonstrated success in executing growth-driving marketing strategies, particularly in a B2C context.Expertise in performance marketing, conversion optimization, retention, social media, brand development, and PR.A passion for climate action and experience with mission-driven brands is highly favorable.

The role We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing efforts and help us achieve our ambitious growth goals. The CMO will report to the CEO and be responsible for developing and executing a marketing strategy that will help us acquire new users, retain our audience, develop our brand, and grow Ecosia into an international leader in climate tech and social business.

Job requirements 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth and long term retention – ideally within a B2C context. Extensive experience with performance marketing, conversion optimization, and retention initiatives. Extensive experience with managing social media and influencer marketing, creative production, brand development, PR, and organic growth initiatives. Passion for climate and social impact. Experience working with mission-driven brands is a plus.
