More than just a veg box….

Riverford are mad about organic veg. It’s at the core of everything we do. We love to grow it, pack it into boxes, and deliver it to around 70,000 homes across the UK every week.

This takes loads of brilliant people – and working here makes you a ‘co-owner’, since Riverford is employee owned. Success means much more than just profits; we want this to be a place people enjoy coming to work, and a business our co-owners feel proud of!

What you’ll be doing…

We take a lot of pride in delivering great looking and tasting veg boxes and recipe boxes to our customers.

Working as part of our production team, your role will be to weigh, bag, punnet and pack a variety of seasonal organic veg and ingredients based in the heart of the packhouse.

You will use your initiative and attention to detail to make sure that you are only packing the very best produce for our customers. You may be asked to help in other departments, or muck in and help with keeping the production area clean and tidy, so you will need to be generally enthusiastic and keen to work as part of a team to get the job done.

Skills & experience

  • Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a production or warehousing environment
  • Must be comfortable working in a cold environment
  • You must be able to lift and manoeuvre crates of produce and veg boxes
  • You should have good communication skills and be able to speak and understand English to a level that enables you to comprehend instructions.
  • Accurate and efficient

Co-owner benefits

Riverford is a beautiful place to work, with lots of great people – and other perks too. Some of our benefits include: 33 days holiday pro rata (including bank holidays), generous company pension scheme, annual profit share (10% of all our profits are split equally between all co-owners), heavily discounted organic breakfasts and lunches, time and half on bank holidays, and free parking.
