Role Summary:Maintain the high standards of coffee making excellence.Create a vibrant atmosphere alongside team members.Deliver outstanding customer service, even in peak times.Live out Redemption Behaviours in all tasks.Assist in training and developing the team.Manage shop operations, including opening/closing, and inventory control.Pursue personal growth and development within the company.
Role Requirements:Solid experience as a barista or manager in a similar setting.Dynamic and outgoing personality.Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.Flexible and enthusiastic about our social impact mission.

Redemption Roasters is on a mission to reduce reoffending through coffee. We’re the world’s first prison-based coffee company. We provide professional coffee industry training, both inside and outside of prison with direct pathways to long-term employment. As a social enterprise, we think differently to other specialty coffee companies; we strive for profit in order to achieve our purpose. Every member of the Redemption Roasters team has a role to play in achieving that purpose; to challenge perceptions and change lives through speciality coffee.
The role entails making consistently excellent coffee, maintaining an electric atmosphere with your team members, providing exemplary customer service (even during busy periods!), embodying the Redemption Behaviours in everything you do, supporting in the training of your team, opening/closing the coffee shop when needed, ordering stock & ensuring correct stock levels are maintained at all times, and actively seeking your own development.
Job requirements include strong barista or managerial experience in a similar type of business, outgoing personality, proactive work ethic, adaptability, and enthusiasm about our social responsibility ethos.
